Description:
Dietary Aides assist with the preparation and serving of meals to our residents. You work as part of a team to maintain proper sanitation protocols, follow guidelines of resident meal plans, and communicating with team members and residents. Employees also log and/or record temperatures of food,  maintain sanitation of equipment and utensils, and work/storage/serving areas by cleaning immediately after use and according to established schedule for routine cleaning and established policies and procedures. Must be able to read and understand directions. Able to interact professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees. Training will be provided, experience is preferred.

Description:
Cook position assures that resident meals, snacks and special diets are properly prepared/cooked and portioned according to authorized menus and individual care plans. Cooks are responsible for handling and preparing food in a sanitary manner, preparing food which is palatable and appetizing in appearance, with strict adherence to written recipes, menus, and individual diet orders. Employees also adhere to food production and usage schedules, log and/or record temperatures of food storage as requested, maintain sanitation of equipment and utensils, and work/storage/serving areas by cleaning immediately after use and according to established schedule for routine cleaning and established policies and procedures. Training will be provided, experience is preferred.
